Problem:
SurfCareers is actually our in-house brainchild and passion project. We saw a gap in the market for a niche employment website specifically for surfers or those in surf related industries. We wanted to create a website that we could connect surfers with employers.

Solution:
We designed and developed the job board software platform from the ground up using the CodeIgniter framework, tailoring everything to suit the specific requirements that we wanted to achieve for this site.

Our next step was to create a content marketing strategy and produce a series of interviews and articles with people within the surf industry. We used this attention-grabbing, relevant content to drive traffic to the site.

Outcome:
SurfCareers now enjoys a strong social media presence that drives traffic to the site. The site has attracted all the major surf brands who now regularly post jobs on the website. So far SurfCareers has had a strong year on year increases in revenue. For us, it has become the ultimate ‘proof of concept’ to demonstrate that when a unique idea is treated with passion and creativity it can come to life and thrive in the online space.
