Problem:
Sanitarium approached us to redevelop the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon website. The iconic series was in its 20th year, with over 200,000 participants throughout the years, but their website was still running on an outdated version of Sitecore which was difficult to maintain and wasn’t optimised effectively for mobile and tablet visitors.
Solution:
Using WordPress we developed a fully responsive new website that looks just as good on mobiles and tablets as it does on desktops. We used large images of participants to create excitement and capture the fun of the event. We also developed an easy to use content management system to enable easy content updates and transitions from the event being open, to sold out, to closed to completed. Finally, we implemented Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) services to test and learn what works best to increase sales.
Outcome:
The new Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon website has been successfully implemented. Whilst we are still providing ongoing support, reporting and consultation, the client has also found that the management of content from their end is much easier.
